Let's all do a few problems to keep math on our minds.

    Advanced Math I

    Problem Set 33   # 2-14 even

    Advanced Math II

    Problem Set 75  #6-16 even

    Chemistry

Re-read pages197-199   to be ready for our molecular models "lab."  Make sure you bring your lab books to school on Friday.

  • Advanced Math I homework for 2/4/11

    Do problem set 35 Evens

I see that some of you prefer the odd problems, but since I haven't taught the next lesson, I didn't want to assign that yet.  I like to pick and choose which problems you do, so on a regular basis, they won't all be odd, but I can try to assign more odd problems than even problems.  If your parents do not have a solution manual yet, please let me know and we will work on getting one for you.

Also, please bring to school any homework assignments, practice tests, or other work that has not been graded yet.

  • Advanced Math II homework for 2/4/11

Do problem Set 77  Evens.    We can go over any of these problems that you have trouble with.   Also please bring with you any homework assignments, practice tests or other work that has not been graded yet.  Thanks!

  • Chemistry homework for 2/4/11

We will skip chapters 10 and 11 for now.  We will start chapter 12.  Your homework is to read 272-278 and do Section Review 12.1 questions #1-5

When we get back to school, we will discuss how I will do your chapter 9 test.  It looks like you have been reviewing, but have not been tested yet.

  • Homework for 2/2/11 for Advanced Math I, Advanced Math II and Chemistry

Your homwork is to answer the following questions.  Please take time to really think them over, as this will help me determine how to proceed with our classes once we finally get together.  If possible, I would like you to e-mail me your answers, so I have a chance to look them over.  My e-mail address is ma_wes@yahoo.com and my phone number (in case you have questions) is 851-0074.  If you are in more than one of my classes, please answer these separately for each class.

Please send me a quick e-mail when you get the assignment so I know that you found it.  Let your classmates know where to find the assignment also.  Please take time to really look through your books/assignments before answering your questions.

    1.  How do you feel about this class so far?  Are you confident about most of the material you have covered?

    2.  Which lessons/chapters/concepts did you like best and understand the most?

    3.  Which lessons/chapters/concepts did you struggle with and would like me to review with the class?

    4.  Would you like me to review the most recently covered material, since you had substitutes those days?  If so, which lesson/topic/concept?

    5.  Do you have any homework assignments or other work that still needs to be turned in and graded?

    6.  Please write down any questions or concerns you have about getting a new teacher in the middle of the semester.

    7.  Is there anything I need to know about you concerning this class or anything else in general that you think I should know?

    8.  Are there any ideas or suggestions for this class that would make it better?  (Don't try to get out of doing homework and tests. . .)

    9.  Are you planning on doing anything fun with all of this snow that we have?  (Stay warm and be safe!)
